Do you, like me, love to head to the water when the sun is shining? Maybe you’re a bit of a ‘fishing-widow’ at this time of year, or do you and your other half take off for the coast as soon as the weather and the water warms up? With the Spring Equinox on the way and the days becoming longer, lots of us will be off to the ‘great outdoors’ partaking in one water-based sport or other.
The trout fishing season starts in Scotland on 15th March until 6th October and in England on 22nd March until 30th September and, with the warmer climes on the way, the fishing gear might be making an appearance from the shed any day now. We know the surf’s not as great as the weather warms up and the winds die down in the spring into summer, but the more fair-weather watersport heros amongst us like to get out there when the sun’s shining and the water’s no so icy cold.
It’s got us thinking of a couple of new arrivals here at 3wisemonkeys that will suit any day out by the river or the ocean this Spring.
Our latest addition to our value phone range is the Denver WAS-1811M black splashproof mobile phone at £19.99 +P&P, with 1.7” colour TFT screen and dual sim card input. Handy for seaside or riverside activities, it’s IP54 splash proof which means it’s in a case that’s protects it from water spray from any direction. It’s a stylish device in black with red trim, has a built-in 0.8 megapixel camera and impressive 1.77” colour TFT screen. Other features include dual sim card input so you can use it for both business and personal use, SMS text messaging, phone book, speed dial, voice dial, silent mode, FM radio, headphone socket, Bluetooth function, alarm clock and calendar. The Denver WAS-18110M comes SIM free unlocked, so can be used on any network (excluding Three network).
The Denver BTS-52 Bluetooth speaker in smart black and a cylinder design at £18.99 +P&P, not only looks impressive, but is incredibly compact, making it a doddle to transport. Play music from your smartphone, MP3 player, iPhone or PC either wirelessly via Bluetooth or through the USB or aux-in connection. The 5W RMS speaker gives you crystal clear sound, and the Bluetooth operating range of up to 10 metres offers great flexibility when listening when you’re out and about. The built-in battery provides 8 hours of playing time when fully charged, so sit back, relax and enjoy hours of continuous sounds. Don’t get this baby wet, but it’s certainly a handy day-trip companion for listening to the weather forecast or your favourite tunes as you make the most of the Springtime.
