Are you eagerly awaiting Easter, our next decent holiday period and the time when things really brighten up here in the UK? With Storm Gareth blowing a gale and the grey skies above, we’re certainly dreaming of sunnier times and a family trip away. Well, Easter is really late this year we’ve realised, with Easter Sunday falling on 21st April. Originally thinking of an early April trip, we’ve now corrected that to mid April, having discovered that Easter can actually fall as early as March 22nd and and as late as April 25th. Did you know that in Western Christianity Easter Sunday is the first Sunday after the first full moon (which is also the Jewish festival Passover), after the Spring Equinox on 21st March. So the earliest Easter Sunday can be is March 22nd and the latest is April 25th. Who knew, not us!? We’ve now got our calendar sorted and a little break planned and this is what we’ll be packing, to take the Easter good times with us!
