Bonfire Night Fun – Get the Music Started

We’re getting excited about Bonfire Night already and we haven’t even had Halloween. I think it’s because we’re loving the new BBC drama ‘Gunpowder’, grotesque though it’s been at times. The cinematography is so good you feel as though you’re watching a top quality movie or a Game of Thrones episode. Admittedly, that may also have something to do with the Game of Thrones star Kit Harington who is playing his ancestor Robert Catesby, who alongside the infamous Guy Fawkes plotted to blow up parliament. What are you planning for this Bonfire Night, the night that we think signals the move into winter, marshmallows, woolly hats and the last big family gathering before Christmas?

We always get together to see a fireworks display before heading back to one of our homes for a get together in front of the first open fire of the winter. We’re off to the Tring Festival of Fire at the Cricket Club where there’ll be food, drink, entertainment and a Guy Parade before heading home to our place. A get together afterwards wouldn’t be the same without some mulled wine,  background music, followed by some silly singalongs and kids singing entertainment and we’re looking forward to all of them!

Here are a few ideas that could keep your Bonfire Night guests entertained whatever their ages:
