Product Description

The WCT-3004 wildlife camera is designed for nature lovers and means you can capture close ups using this motion activated video camera. Video or photos (or both) are captured automatically via the PIR motion sensor. Automatic switching from standard day time to night vision means photos or video in the dead of night are also no problem.

From sunrise the unit takes colour photos and video until there is insufficient light (dusk) when it automatically switches over to its infra-red night vision using 36 LEDs to ensure you still get great shots or video even at night with little to no light.

Take high resolution photos of up to 8 megapixels and HD video of up to 1080p @ 25fps.

View your footage on the 2 inch LCD, connect the camera using the included USB cable to your PC and download your photos and video or plug the camera in to your TV for full screen playback.

This wildlife camera takes 4 or 8 * AA sized batteries to power itself and these can last up to 6 months if the camera stays in standby. The camera has an SD card slot and this can take up to 32GB memory card for photo and video storage.
Leave it out in the snow or rain is now problem either.

    Date resets to 2014 every time. Otherwise is works well and good value for money. Pity the 5003 was out of stock.

    This camera seems to be fine, but the on screen functions set up are a bit fiddly, just need to try out which is best for night vision, the daylight camera is good. in one week…. all be it poor weather it took 698 pictures and got a distant picture of one of the many deer that roam in my fields. like all types of equipment you just have to try it out with different settings . If i had one bad thing to say about it is why did the manufacturer decide to put the 6v connection with a flimsy rubber cap on the top? overall a good product at a good price.

    This camera is easy to use and takes good quality photographs. Battery life is good and the remote control makes setting up the camera easy once you get your head around the menus. Night time quality is not so good but acceptable as long as the subject is reasonably close. The fixing strap works well in a variety of positions and situations. The PIR is very sensitive to movement which means that care has to be taken to position the camera away from foliage or anything else that could move in the wind and trigger the camera. on two occasions the device has taken over 1000 photos in a few hours because I did not position it well – you live and learn.
    I hope now to get some good shots of birds entering and leaving nesting boxes something which takes extreme patience with an ordinary camera.. All round very pleased, good service from the supplier when the initial camera proved to have a slight fault and was rapidly replaced. good service.

    I have had this for a couple of weeks now and have been able to capture some interesting wildlife activity in the garden. It was easy to set up – the instruction booklet could be improved (more information about what the menu options mean would be good), but it’s simple enough to work out what most of the settings do. Sometimes at nighttime, the video clips start off showing a large area around the camera but then it darkens at the edges, reducing the visible area by about 50%. I’m not sure if that is to be expected, or if it’s something to do with where I have located the camera. Having said that, it’s still producing interesting results. During daylight, the edges of the picture are slightly out of focus, with only the central part in focus but that is a minor gripe. This is the first camera of this type that I have used so not sure how it compares to others, but for the money, it seems like very good value. I bought a 32gb sdhc card and the 30 second video clips are around 95mb. The card is accessed from the bottom of the unit so can be removed for viewing in a computer without having to unmount the camera. So pleased with this that I am thinking of getting another to use in a different part of the garden.

    What can I say apart from a fantastic camera and an exceptional company to order from…..     Tip you need to use sd card not micro or nano in adapter
    It ask to unlock card which you can’t
    Get sd card 8,16,32gb

    I’ve had the camera for 3 weeks now. I’m using it to try to identify a dog that keeps fouling the entrance to my garage. Unfortunately the camera appears to “hang” after a few hours rather than continuously monitoring. It will take a few videos and photos which would be perfect for my purpose but it then stops working for no apparent reason. The batteries are fine and the SD card nowhere near full. I’ve set the motion sensor on sensitive and it certainly picks up movement when it’s working. I’m disappointed that it won’t perform a continuous monitoring function and would like to know if others have had this problem and if anything can be done to correct it.

    Original camera was faulty, but exchanged very quickly and easily by 3 Wise Monkeys. The camera replacement is fab. The night vision pics and video are a great quality. Would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to see what goes on in the back garden when you’re not looking 🙂 As for 3 Wise Monkeys, excellent service and communications.
